Interesting website with analysis
After the tutorial websites, here is the interesting websites that I found.
There is one website that I like it the most which is AquaCP.
I found this design company website when I was doing my research of user
interface during last semester.
This website is not only to introduce their company but they also
made an interactive animation to describe something like the unlimited ideas and creativeness of
their designers.
AquaCP also uses comfortable colours in their animation to proceed viewers friendly and this is the one that attract people the most.
This website also gives user-friendly through the simple task bars below the site.
Next, the Nerisson.
It is a personal portfolio website by a france designer.
It has an interesting interface with the hexagonal buttons to proceed to present the admin's portfolio.
The portfolios are clearly shown with beautiful design and colours. There were also a description button at the bottom left to enable viewers can understand more about the portfolio.
Nerrison website designed the page with shapes and forms to represent the unique styles of his.
But the problem is this site takes my couple of seconds for loading to proceed to the next page.
The third website is The Games We Played.
It is an companion website that proceeding a Singapore's Memory Project.
The site interface uses grid button method with large alphabet letters to enter the next interface.
This site uses interesting comfortable colours for viewers friendly.
It also made simple and nice animation at the banner.
This website also given a simple description of every games in past so that the youngster can understand the games clearly.
Lastly, the fourth website is LetsDoThis.
It is a charity website that asks for donation to give a helping hand to the cancer sufferers.
The overall design of this site is well organized with simple designs and able to
emphasize the main point.
They used comfortable colours with large typography to enlarge what they want to say and the main purpose for their campaign.
They also used a creative way to let the users willing to proceed the donation by listing the amount for donation on each category.
It has an interactive way by opening the door to let the users proceed the donation procedure.
That is all my analyzing of the 4 interesting website. :)
Interesting Photoshop / Illustrator tutorial websites
This week, I am doing an assignment for my Web Design and Communication subject which is to find and analyze a few of PS or AI tutorials and nice websites.
First of all, it is the one of the leading Adobe tutorial website, Tutplus. It is also the tutorial website I visited the most.
Tutplus has most of the tutorials in the world including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Photography, Web Design and more.
The overall interface is neat and organized.
The second tutorial website, it is Abduzeedo.
Abduzeedo is a blog about design.
I can find very useful tutorials for the most used applications out there.
This tutorial website also provides an inspiration page with all sorts of articles for those who want to look for inspiration.
Next, the SpoonGraphics.
This blog contains various techniques and effects in Photoshop and Illustrator.
The interface of this blog is gives the style of simple is good with the interesting logo design and the usage of comfortable colours.
Moreover, SpoonGraphics also provides free inspirational articles and freebies that able to improvise our design.
Last but not least, the CreativeNerds.
I found this tutorial website is very suitable for the beginner designers like me. It is because this website contains many simple designs that I can learn from the start.
This website also listed other 2 links which able to:
-Research and download patterns from VectorPatterns.
-Another interesting design tutorial web, DesignChair.
In a nutshell, there are actually many more tutorial websites all over the internet. It is not that only the famous website only have the best tutorials but also whether you need it or not. Just have fun with the tutorials and design freely! Smile! :)
